About the photo: The sun had just broken though the gloomy sky as this coyote roamed the frozen landscape, searching for his afternoon snack. It is very fascinating to watch how a coyote hunts with such precision and patience, waiting for the exact moment to pounce and nose dive into the ground for a tasty meal. Unfortunately this pounce did not produce him with what he sought.
